Borve sits on the west side of the Isle of Barra, next to the machair and the sandy bays, and looks out to the Atlantic. Castlebay, with the Oban ferry, shops and a supermarket, is two miles away and the island bus passes the site.
There are sixteen pitches for campervans and motorhomes, twelve on hardstanding and four on grass, all with electric, plus six grass pitches for tents. The facilities block has showers and toilets, and there is a kitchen area with a microwave, toaster and air fryer, a laundry with an outside drying line, a fridge-freezer and a waste disposal point. All of it is step-free for disabled access.
Showers cost nothing extra. You book by phone or email and pay on arrival in cash or by bank transfer, with no deposit.
