About Pitch Guide

We list every place you can camp, tour or glamp in the UK (2032 at the last count) and turn each one's tariff, terms and website into plain facts you can compare.

Where the information comes from

Each campsite's own website first: its price list, terms and conditions, site rules and FAQ. Where a site publishes nothing, we use the Caravan and Motorhome Club, the Camping and Caravanning Club, the operators' own pages and other public listings, and mark the information as less certain. Every campsite page says when it was last checked and links to the sources.

Where we don't know something, we say "not known" rather than guess. A wrong "dogs welcome" is worse than no answer.

Photos

Campsite photos come from each campsite's own website, and every gallery says which site and links to it. We only use photos of the campsite itself, and each one is checked and labelled by what it shows (the pool, the toilet block, the pitches), so you can see the things that matter before you book. Campsite owners can hide, replace or add photos at any time by claiming their listing, or email us and we'll take any photo down straight away.

How prices work

Campsites price in many different ways: per pitch or per person, by season, by weekday, with extra charges for dogs, electric, cars and awnings, and minimum stays at busy times. We store all of that, so the price you see is worked out for your dates and your party. It's still the campsite's price, so always check it when you book.

How we make money

We don't take bookings or add fees. You book direct with the campsite. Links to campsites carry a tag so they can see the visits came from us. In time, campsites will be able to pay to be featured; featured listings will always be labelled.
