Garden House Camping sits in the listed walled garden beside Breachacha New Castle, at the quiet west end of the Isle of Coll with an RSPB reserve all around. It is a working farm, so every guest registers on arrival for biosecurity reasons. There is room for about twenty tents inside the walls, and two caravans or motorhomes can park in front of the house.
A simple wet room and toilet, a fridge-freezer, microwave, seating, drying lines and a BBQ area are provided, with a few electric hook-ups for tents and vans. The beach at Breachacha is five minutes away. The ferry terminal at Arinagour is about five miles off.
Large motorhomes need care: the track is narrow with overhanging trees and the turn from the village side is tight, so approach from the airport entrance. Booking is by email with full payment up front.
