This is a small site at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac just west of Kilchoan, on the shore of the Sound of Mull. It has 25 pitches cut into terraces on a slope below an old volcano, and nine of them sit down on the foreshore just above the high-water mark. It takes tents and campervans up to 6.5m, but no caravans.
The site has electric hook-ups, hot showers included in the price, and free wifi outside the office. You can swim, launch a kayak or go rockpooling from the shore. The Kilchoan Hotel pub and restaurant is about 2km away, and the village has a shop with fuel, a cafe and the ferry to Tobermory. There is also a basic camping pod, the Old Boathouse, on the shoreline for up to three, where you bring your own bedding and cooking kit. Dogs are welcome.
