Fidden Farm is a working farm at the western tip of the Ross of Mull, run by the same family since 1952. The camping ground is a large open area split into two fields beside a sheltered white-sand bay, so you check in at reception, then choose your own spot and can walk straight onto the sand.
There are no electric hook-ups and no bookable pitches, just turn up. The heated block has toilets, showers, a dishwash room, an accessible toilet and shower, baby changing, a washing machine and dryer, a freezer and chemical and grey water disposal. The site is very exposed to Atlantic wind, so bring a sturdy tent. It is about a mile from Fionnphort, where the boats to Iona and Staffa leave.
