Oban Holiday Park occupies the Gallanachmore farmland a few miles south-west of Oban, facing the island of Kerrera. It is one of three parks run by Highland Holidays. Camping is on grass or hardstanding, with and without electric hook-up, and tent pitches share the same toilet and shower block, water points, grey-water drainage and chemical disposal as the tourers.
Beyond pitches there is a spread of pods (a basic camping pod, escape pods and hot tub escape pods), Highland View lodges and several hot tub lodges, most with views over the water. A shop, play park, wifi in reception and rental units, and a herd of Highland cattle with set feeding times are on site. The water is from natural springs and the park advises boiling it or drinking bottled water.
