This is the Camping and Caravanning Club's site at Barcaldine near Loch Creran, about 13 miles north of Oban. It is a walled site of 75 pitches taking all unit types, with grass and hardstanding pitches (with and without electric) and larger grass pitches with and without electric.
There is a refurbished toilet block, accessible facilities, a motorhome service point, a washing-up area, a shop and a designated dog walk. Forest walks in Sutherland's Grove start next to the site, and Benderloch beach and the Beinn Lora trail are a short drive away. Oban is the ferry port for Mull, Iona and Lismore. The entrance has a 3.4m (11ft 2in) height restriction because of an arch.
