Moorcroft is a family-run site at Cairinish on the north side of North Uist. It has ten tent pitches, four with electric hook-up, twelve hardstanding pitches with electric for motorhomes, campervans and caravans, and three glamping pods for two.

The heated amenities block has free showers and disabled access, and campers get a fully equipped kitchen in a converted blackhouse, plus a laundry and drying room and waste and fresh water points. Dogs are welcome on the site, though not in the hostel.

The cottage hostel has a triple and two twin rooms with an open-plan kitchen and sitting room, so it works for a group or a rainy-day base. Moorcroft is open from late April to early October.
