Scallow Campsite is on Fairview Farm between East Hoathly and Waldron in East Sussex, in a sheltered copse that fills with bluebells in spring. It is a Camping and Caravanning Club certificated site, so the Club's members book the touring pitches, with room for five vans and a few tents.
There are five hardstanding pitches, two of which suit tents, and a newly built toilet and shower block. The owner also lets glamping pods with bedding, a fridge and a gas ring, each with a terrace, barbecue and chiminea. East Hoathly village, a mile away, has a pub, cafe and shop.
