This is the Camping and Caravanning Club's site at Goldsmith Recreation Ground in Crowborough, in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounded by trees. Ashdown Forest is a short drive away and there are woodland walks from the site.
Pitches are grass and hardstanding, with and without electric, plus larger grass pitches with and without electric. Many pitches slope, so bring levelling ramps and chocks. There is a shop, recreation hall, family shower room, motorhome service point and Club Wi-Fi, and a pub is within a mile. Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings and Hever Castle are all within reach.
