Wild Boar Wood is a fenced, five-acre semi-ancient wood beside the Bluebell Railway near Horsted Keynes. It holds nine pre-erected five-metre bell tents on raised platforms, spaced among the trees, each with its own firepit and grill. There is no pitching your own tent here.

Parking is in a separate car park and you carry your gear in on wheelbarrows. The site is off-grid: two flushing toilets, two bucket showers heated by a wood stove, drinking-water points, a covered washing-up area and a communal campfire. Dogs, amplified music and radios are not allowed.

Price includes two people. Kitchenware, cool box, lantern, 25L water container, firewood allocation and grill provided. Bring sleeping bags or duvets, pillows, bottom sheet and towels. Two secluded 'faraway' tents can be requested.
