Cairds is a small, quiet site on Battenhurst Road on the edge of Stonegate, with views over fields and woodland from every pitch. There are about 15 pitches of short-cut grass, all with electric hook-up available, taking tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes up to 7m. The owners also keep horses, some of them rescue animals, in the neighbouring fields.

For a bit more comfort there are three bell tents (two 5m canvas ones and an air dome), a heated glamping arch with its own toilet and shower, and a one-room double cabin. Dogs are welcome on a lead, fires are fine off the ground and fire pits and logs can be hired. Facilities are two shower and toilet units, a washing-up area and waste disposal.
