Park Farm is a large, family-run campsite on 18 acres of farmland beside the River Rother at Bodiam, on the East Sussex and Kent border. It has around 180 pitches and you choose your own spot in the open fields, so groups can pitch together. Tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes are all welcome, and 83 pitches have 10-amp electric hook-up that has to be booked and is allocated.
Campfires are allowed on the ground beside your pitch, and logs and kindling are sold on site. There is a licensed bar with a covered area, a cafe and a shop, plus hot showers, washing-up sinks, a chemical disposal point and play areas. You can fish or paddle the river, and Bodiam Castle and the pub are about 25 minutes away on foot along the Rother.
Dogs are allowed on a short lead but not in the shop, toilets or showers. Amplified music and generators are banned and the gates close at 10pm. There is also a premium tent pitch option with electric included.
