See all 11 photos- Dogs welcome
Lidalia sits on the old Waverley railway line in the middle of Newcastleton, a Scottish Borders village of about 800 people. It is a flat three-acre park of around 30 hardstanding pitches, each with an electric hook-up. Some sit around two small duck ponds and others back onto a wooded hill where red squirrels live.
The shower block has private cubicles and is heated in winter. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, an accessible shower room, a dog and bike wash and motorhome service points. The village shop and butcher are about 200m away and the bus stop is nearer than that. It is mainly for caravans and motorhomes, with a few grass pup-tent pitches that need booking by phone. Caravan and Motorhome Club members and non-members are both welcome, and dogs and awnings cost nothing extra.
