Wooded riverside Club site by the South Tyne near Haltwhistle, between Hadrian's Wall and the North Pennines, with fly fishing on site.

See all 1 photos
  • Dogs welcome

Haltwhistle Club Site sits in a clearing in Bellister Wood, a National Trust woodland, with the River South Tyne along one edge. A woodland walk leads to Haltwhistle's market town, and Hadrian's Wall is a short drive. Pitches are grass or hardstanding, with or without electric, for tents, caravans, motorhomes and rooftop tents.

The approach is narrow and steep and the Club says not to follow satnav: please do not arrive before 1pm. Fly fishing is possible within the site boundary with a rod licence. The South Tynedale Railway at Alston and Solway Aviation Museum are options for days out.
