See all 2 photos
  • Dogs welcome

Chapel House Farm sits about a mile east of Gilsland and a mile and a half west of Greenhead, close to the Hadrian's Wall Path. It is a working family farm that takes tents only, with a choice of field pitches and a farmyard toilet and handwash.

It is set up for people on foot or bike. There is no caravan or campervan pitching and no provision for visitors arriving by car. You can just turn up, though a call or text to the owners first is the sensible way to be sure of a space. Dogs are welcome on leads, and there is no extra charge for them.
