Hadrian's Wall Campsite is a small site in the Tyne Valley with views over farmland and about 20 minutes' walk to the Wall. Pitches range from small grass tent spots to hardstanding for campervans and motorhomes, most with electric hook-up available.
For something more comfortable there are shepherd's huts with a kitchen, shower room and woodburner, 5m bell tents with a firepit outside, and a bunkbarn with beds for walkers on the Wall path. A heated shower and toilet block, a small shop and bike lock-up are on site, and breakfast rolls and coffee are sold in high season.
Dogs and awnings are free. Amplified music is not allowed and there is a quiet time from 10:30pm.
