Waterfoot Park is a Lake District Estates holiday park on the edge of Pooley Bridge, with a Georgian mansion at its heart that houses the reception, shop, a lounge with a pool table and a bar where dogs are welcome. The touring field has hardstanding pitches that each get electric, water and grey-waste connections, set out by vehicle length from 6.5m to 9m. Tents are not taken on the touring side.

Away from the touring field there are heated glamping pods, larger S-Pod cabins and a run of self-catering apartments and cottages, including a riverside cottage in the village. Some of the pods, S-Pods and cottages take dogs and others are kept dog-free, so check which you are booking. The village is a 15-minute walk away.

Fires are not allowed, and barbecues must be charcoal or gas and used on hardstanding or raised 18 inches off the grass. There is an EV charger on site, with charges through the Monta app.
