Park Foot Holiday Park
A large lakeshore park on Ullswater, a mile from Pooley Bridge, with tent and tourer fields, a bar-restaurant, lake access and self-catering lodges and cottages.
- Dogs welcome
- Campfires
Park Foot sits on the Howtown road on the shore of Ullswater, about a mile from Pooley Bridge and a ten-minute riverside walk from its pubs and shops. Camping and touring are spread over several fields: Striding Edge, Sandall and Lakeside have electric hook-ups on fine gravel or hardstanding, while Fellside and Euseriggs are grass fields for tents and campervans without electric. Lakeside gives direct access to the water, and the park has its own jetty and boat launch.
On site there is TJ's bar and restaurant with a takeaway, a shop, a play area, a games area, bike hire and dog-walking areas. A new amenity block in Lakeside has family rooms, an accessible room, a dog shower and a free dishwasher, and there is a motorhome service point and chemical disposal. New for 2026 is a lower rate for guests who arrive without a vehicle, handy for Coast to Coast walkers.
The park runs as a family and couples site: groups of more than two families or two couples are not accepted, and campfires are not allowed, though raised fire pits and stand-mounted BBQs are. Beyond the camping fields there are lodges and cottages on the park and in nearby Pooley Bridge and Howtown, open all year. Camping prices are only shown inside the online booking system.
