Sands of Luce spreads across level ground behind the dunes at Sandhead, with seven miles of sand along Luce Bay on the doorstep. The touring area is called the Dunes: 26 level gravel pitches in rows facing the sea, each with its own electric hook-up, water, night light and grey-water drain. Pitches measure about 7m by 7.5m and take tourers and motorhomes up to 7.2m, plus an awning or pup tent. Trailer tents are fine, but there is no field for ordinary tent camping.

The washblock is graded five-star by Visit Scotland and the AA, with free hot showers, family rooms and an accessible room. There is a laundry, an adventure play park and climbing wall, a Play Barn with pool and table tennis, a farm park, and the Lighthouse restaurant and bar, which does stone-baked pizza and live music at weekends. The park also lets a row of 2024 static caravans that sleep six, from April to October. The village shop is a short walk along the beach.
