Castle Cary Holiday Park sits on the edge of Creetown, looking over the Cree estuary in Dumfries and Galloway. The park is built around a 16th-century tower house, part of which is now the Laird's Inn, and most of the site is owned holiday homes and lodges. Touring pitches are the part open to visitors: grass with or without electric, and hardstanding pitches with electric and water or full service.

On site you will find a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool with a paddling pool (both charged per session), a cafe, a small shop, a games room, a playground, crazy golf and donkeys. Showers are in private en-suite rooms, and there is a laundry, a baby room and a disabled toilet and shower. Fishing in the park's own loch needs no permit or payment. The non-electric camping field is up to five minutes from the toilets and can hear the main road.
