Loch Ken Holiday Park sits on the bank of Loch Ken near Castle Douglas, on the edge of the Galloway Forest dark sky park. It has a touring area with hardstanding and electric pitches, a separate tent field with 12 electric points, and a range of static holiday homes and a cottage.

Touring and tent guests get free hot showers, free wifi, a 24-hour laundry, sheltered dishwashing, chemical and waste disposal, and a shop selling the basics plus fishing tackle. Kids have two play parks, a football pitch and table tennis, and there are rowing boats and kayaks to hire on the loch.

Dogs are welcome with an exercise area on site. Note that touring and electric tent pitches have a seven-night minimum stay.
