Coastal Kippford is a mostly owner-occupied holiday park on a wooded hillside above the Solway Firth, a short walk uphill from Kippford village. A small number of nightly pitches are kept for visitors: a few tent pitches with electric, and touring pitches for caravans, motorhomes and campervans, some with water and grey waste as well as hook-up. The park also rents out its own lodges and static caravans, some with hot tubs, plus homes that owners let privately.
Dalbeattie Forest and its 7stanes mountain bike trails start about 300 metres from the entrance, and the coastal path to Rockcliffe leaves from the village. There are two play areas, a laundry room and toilet and shower blocks beside the touring pitches. Reception staff are on hand around the clock and dogs of any size are welcome.
