Galloway Point is a gently sloping park just under a mile from Portpatrick on the Rhins of Galloway coast, with views across the Irish Sea towards the Mountains of Mourne. Most of the park is privately owned holiday homes, with a touring section set among them. It is a convenient base for the Stranraer and Cairnryan ferries.
Every touring pitch has electric hook-up, included in the nightly price, and the pitches are a mix of grass and hardstanding. Grass pitches have the sea view but are further from the shower block and chemical disposal; hardstandings are closer but without the view. There is a shower block with separate ladies, gents and accessible rooms, a launderette, dish-washing area, games room and play park.
