Sunnymeade Caravan Park

Sunnymeade is a long-established caravan park about a mile from Portpatrick on the Rhins of Galloway, with views over the Irish Sea. It is mainly a place for owners of static caravans and lodges, but it also takes touring caravans and motorhomes from May to the end of September, on hardstandings with electric hook-up, or on grass with hook-up if you have an awning. A newer area overlooking the park's wildlife loch has serviced pitches.

A few holiday homes are let by the week, Saturday to Saturday. They sleep two to four, have two bedrooms (the double has its own en-suite toilet), decking, central heating and double glazing, with gas included and electricity metered. Dogs are welcome on leads. Portpatrick harbour is a ten-minute walk, the Southern Upland Way starts there, and the ruins of Dunskey Castle and the cliffs are a short walk from the park.
