A six-acre woodland site on the quiet western edge of the Lake District, about 500m from the shore at Ravenglass. The toilet block was refurbished in 2024 and there are accessible and family rooms, a dog wash and a motorhome service point. The camping field is lined with trees.
Pubs in Ravenglass village are within walking distance, as is the station for the La'al Ratty steam railway up Eskdale. Drigg Beach is nearby and the Scafell Pike start points are a short drive. Sat navs may route you over Corney Fell, which is unsuitable for caravans and motorhomes.
