See all 7 photosPhilpin Farm is a working hill farm with cattle and sheep in Chapel-le-Dale, between Ingleborough and Whernside, and the Gardner family has run the campsite since 2014. It is a basic tent field: no electric hookups, no caravans or campervans, and cars stay in a separate parking area rather than on the camping field.
There is a coded toilet and shower block for campers, a washing-up area with hot water, and a barn with extra toilets, vending machines, a freezer for ice blocks and charging lockers. At weekends from mid April to the end of September the barn doubles as a snack bar, and cooked breakfasts and packed lunches can be pre-ordered. The Three Peaks footpath runs right beside the site.
