Meadow Falls is a small site in Thornton in Lonsdale, about half a mile off the A65 and close to Ingleton and its waterfall trails. There is a grass field for tents and VW-style campervans (with or without electric), five fully serviced hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes, a gravel motorhome pitch, glamping pods and the Kingsdale Cabin. The owners keep numbers low and do not take large groups.
The shower block has won Loo of the Year awards and showers are free. There is a play area with a fairy dell, a washing-up block, a fridge and freezer for ice packs and a microwave. Dogs are welcome everywhere including the pods, with a fenced 200m dog run and a dog wash. Fire pits can be hired for a few pounds a night, with wood and barbecue packs ordered through your booking account.
