See all 15 photos- Dogs welcome
Old Hall is a family-run park of holiday homes and touring pitches in the hamlet of Capernwray, a few minutes from M6 junction 35. It stands in about 70 acres of woodland with marked walks, and the canal towpath is close by for longer outings. The park is mostly privately owned holiday homes, but a number of hard-standing pitches are let to tourers by the night.
Touring pitches have electric and TV hook-up (16 amp). The heated toilet block has free showers and hair dryers, a family/accessible room and a washing-up area, and there is a launderette, chemical emptying point, site-wide wifi and a fenced play area. Dogs are welcome on leads and can run off the lead in the woodland. Barbecues are fine but open fires and fire pits are not allowed. Touring caravans must be under 15 years old when first arriving.
Short-stay pitches are available from March to early December, and it is worth ringing first as space is limited. Kirkby Lonsdale, the Yorkshire Dales and the South Lakes are all a drive away.
