Silver Ridge Holiday Park

Quiet Holgates park on a limestone ridge near Milnthorpe, mainly for owners, with a few hire caravans and a cottage.

Silver Ridge is one of the smaller Holgates parks, on a wooded limestone ridge at the edge of the Arnside and Silverdale landscape, just south of the Lake District. Most plots belong to holiday-home owners, but the park keeps a fleet of hire caravans and lets one cottage, Hillberry, for short breaks.

There is no touring or camping here. On site you get a launderette, free wifi (patchy in places), a small playground and a woodland dog-walking path along the park edge. The big indoor pool, sauna and steam room are at Silverdale Holiday Park, about 15 minutes away by car.
