Woodclose Park is just up the hill from Devil's Bridge on the River Lune, a 10 to 15 minute walk from Kirkby Lonsdale's pubs and shops. It sits on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with the Lake District about half an hour away by car. It is run by Lake District Estates and also has holiday homes for sale on site.

The touring area is all hardstanding and fully serviced: electric and TV hook-up, water and grey waste drainage at every pitch, in sizes from 6.5 to 9 metres. Tents, pup tents, gazebos and sleeping in cars are not allowed, so it is motorhomes, campervans and caravans only. For something else there are glamping pods, Hive cabins with kitchen and shower room, and a one-bedroom apartment called Treetops. Some of the pods and cabins take dogs and some do not. There is a dog-walking field, a dog and boot wash, a shop, laundry and a playground.
