Hard-standing touring site for caravans and motorhomes (no tents) near Ingleton, with three adults-only hot-tub lodges, a mile from the village.

  • Some dogs

Thornbrook Barn is a small, owner-run touring site on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just over half a mile from the start of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. There are 42 hard-standing pitches, all with 16 amp electric hook-up; 30 of them are serviced with a water tap and grey-waste drain. There is no grass and tents are not accepted, only caravans, motorhomes, campervans and trailer tents.

The toilet and shower block has underfloor heating, and there is an accessible room, a covered pot wash, an information room, a motorhome drop point and free site-wide wifi. Dogs have an enclosed run where they can go off the lead. There is no play area and ball games are not allowed, so it suits walkers and couples better than families with young children. A food shop and coffee shop is a few minutes on foot, and Ingleton is about a mile away.

Three cedar-clad lodges sit in their own area, each for two adults over 21 with a king bed, ensuite shower, kitchenette and a private hot tub on a south-facing terrace. Children and pets are not allowed in the lodges.
