Fell View Park is a small, tree-lined site off Wandales Lane, a couple of minutes from the A65 and a short drive from both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Pitches are mostly let seasonally to caravanners, each with electric, water, a TV point, grey water drain and free wifi.
The visitor draw is the eight Escape Pods the owners build themselves. Each is about 7m by 3.3m inside, with a king bed, en-suite shower room, kitchenette, wood burner, TV, gas barbecue and a private hot tub, and they sit in their own area at the north end with fell views. Two pods (Barbondale and Leck Fell) accept dogs; the rest are pet free. The pub at Whoop Hall is a footpath and a road crossing away, and Cowan Bridge shop is about half a mile off.
