West View Caravan Park

West View is a small family-run static caravan park at the top of a hill above Gatebeck, a few miles from Kendal and the M6 junction 36. Most pitches are privately owned holiday homes, but the park lets out one two-bedroom caravan and a newer lodge that sleeps six, for weekends or longer.

Views run across Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland hills, there is a private fishing pond across the lane, and Kirkby Lonsdale and Kendal are each about five miles away. The caravan sleeps four and the lodge six, both with bedding and towels provided. Bookings go through the UKcaravans4hire listing rather than the park's own site.
