Sizergh Caravan & Camping sits on Low Sizergh Farm, a working organic dairy farm on the southern edge of the Lake District, about five miles from Kendal. There are ten tent pitches in three sizes, seven fully serviced hardstanding pitches for caravans, motorhomes and campervans, and one wooden pod that sleeps four.

A purpose-built shower block with underfloor heating, a drying room and a pot wash sit at the top of the lane, next to the farm shop, cafe and a raw milk vending machine. You can watch the afternoon milking, and there is a mile-and-three-quarter farm trail from the site. The Strickland Arms is a five-minute walk.

It is a small site with firm rules: no groups, no campfires, and one party per pitch. Bookings can be made online or by phone, up to the day of arrival.
