Ribblesdale Pods is a small cluster of nine insulated pods at Town Head Farm in Horton in Ribblesdale, the village at the start of the Pen-y-ghent walk. Each pod has its own hot tub, a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette with induction hob and microwave, underfloor heating and its own parking space.
Six pods sleep two adults and three (Ribble, Brants Ghyll and Douk Ghyll) take two children as well. All take one dog. There is a drying room for wet kit, plus a boot and dog wash, and barbecues can be hired. Mobile signal is good and the site has a coded gate.
Check-in is from 3pm with a key safe, so you can arrive up to 10pm. There is a two-night minimum, no day visitors and no stag or hen parties.
