The Dalesbridge sits on the A65 at Austwick, on the edge of the Three Peaks country in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with the Forest of Bowland just across the valley. The campsite is three level, tree-lined fields on about 10 acres with room for over 100 units, a good number of electric hook-ups, and some hardstanding for caravans and motorhomes. Showers and toilets are free and refurbished, and there is an indoor washing-up room and a chemical disposal point.
Under cover there are three large pods and one small pod with beds made up, eight basic walkers' cabins (4 and 6 bed, each with its own shower and toilet), a two-bedroom self-catering cottage called the Inglenook, and an eight-bedroom lodge that sleeps 16 and is let as a whole. There is a bar open at weekends and daily in summer, a shop for coffee and basics, and wood-fired pizza on selected nights. Groups are welcome, though not stag or hen parties, and dogs are allowed on the campsite, in pods and cabins, and in the bar.
- Direct walking for the Three Peaks and Ingleborough
- Free hot showers
- On-site bar and wood-fired pizza
- Pods and walkers' cabins for a dry night
