Dolgamedd is a family-run park on the banks of a river just outside Dolgellau, off the B4416 at Bontnewydd. Tents, tourers and campervans are spread across several fields: a middle field with grass and hardstanding and 11 hook-ups, an upper level of hardstanding for caravans and campervans, a grassy shelf with four hook-ups, and a riverbank strip kept for tents and small campervans only. A separate field holds long-stay caravans, and there is also a privately owned static caravan area. There are no caravans to hire.

The reception building has free showers, toilets, a family and accessible room, a laundrette, a dishwashing area and a campers' kitchen for wet days. Campfires are allowed in stone circles on the riverbank pitches, and the owners hold some fishing rights on the river by arrangement. Pitches are priced per person rather than per tent, with electric hook-up at a flat extra.
