Cefn Coed is a 75-acre farm estate near Penmaenpool, where ancient oak woodland and meadow run down towards the Mawddach Estuary and Trail, under Cadair Idris. Camping is split between secluded woodland pitches (no car access, wheelbarrows provided from the car park) and open meadow pitches with mountain views and parking beside your tent.

There are communal toilets and showers, composting loos around the site, spring drinking water, a camp shop and a seasonal bar and kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven. You can also stay in a twelve-bed bunkhouse in the old bakehouse and dairy, or in two off-grid huts, a woodcutter's hut and a Romany vardo. Guests need to join the Greener Camping Club before booking.
