Cedris is a working farm on the B4405 between the village of Abergynolwyn and Tal-y-llyn lake, with a stream running through the site. Tents, caravans and motorhomes all pitch here, with some electric hook-ups, and the pitch prices are set by the size of your tent and how many of you there are, from a single walker in a small tent upwards.

There is a shower block with male and female sections (a pound buys five minutes), a washing-up area, ice-pack freezing and recycling. Campfires and barbecues are fine as long as they go on the slabs provided, and bags of wood are sold on site. Dogs are welcome on leads because there are sheep and cattle in the surrounding fields.

Abergynolwyn is a mile away, Talyllyn lake two miles, Cader Idris four miles and Tywyn on the coast nine. The farm also has two self-catering cottages. Payment is by cash.
