Dyfi Adventure Campsite is a small, no-frills field beside the River Dyfi in Aberangell, a few miles from Machynlleth. There is no mains electric and no hook-ups; you pick any free mown pitch, and each one has its own firepit. A river beach below the field is good for paddling and swimming, and the site opened in 2019 as a base for riders heading to the Dyfi Bike Park.

Toilets and hot showers are lit by solar, and the tap water is spring-fed and should be boiled or swapped for bottled. Tents and campervans are welcome but caravans are not, because of access and ground conditions. A riverside shepherd's hut is let separately for those who want a bed and a log burner. There is no reception: text or WhatsApp when you arrive.
