Woodlands is a family-run holiday home park on 20 acres a mile outside Bryncrug, in the Snowdonia National Park, with a view down towards Cardigan Bay. Nearly all of it is privately owned holiday homes and chalets, which the owners let out themselves, so the part that is open to casual visitors is a small touring paddock set away from the main park.

Touring pitches, on hardstanding or the newer grass paddock, each have electric (5 amp), TV and water connections. There is a small toilet block with free hot showers and a pots-and-pans sink, and a hardstanding area for larger motorhomes when the ground is soft. Tents are not allowed. The heated outdoor pool is open from Whitsun to September, and a clubhouse with bar and restaurant is run separately (and was closed awaiting new tenants when we looked).
