Tyn-y-Pant sits just off the A496 between Barmouth and Harlech, on the edge of Snowdonia with Cardigan Bay laid out below. There are five fields to choose from, taking tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, and the owners say the place is open all year.
The price list is short and simple: a flat nightly rate for a tent and a slightly higher one for a caravan or motorhome, with showers charged by the use. Firewood is sold by the bag and a wood burner is provided. The owners also let static caravans and can put you in touch with local providers for bike hire and activities.
