Dinas sits up the Cwm Bychan valley behind Llanbedr, about two and a half miles from the main road and a few miles from the sandy beaches near Harlech. The camping area is roughly five acres of mostly level ground in two fields: one beside a stream, one ringed by oak trees. Each pitch has its own picnic table, kids build dens and dams, and a canoe on the small private lake is free to use.

Tents only: motorhomes and touring caravans are not accepted, and neither are dogs, groups or music. Campfires are allowed in hired fireboxes, with logs sold on site. Besides the tent fields there is a single camping pod, a hot-tub pitch for adults, and a few static caravans to hire. The route in is narrow, with a gate to open on the way.
