Low Greenside sits on the edge of Ravenstonedale in the Westmorland Dales, with the Howgills and the Lake District fells within reach and a short stroll to two village pubs. The tent field is grass with wild meadow between the pitches, and every pitch has its own fire pit. There is no pitch fee on top of the per-night price and pets on leads are free.
Facilities are a step above the usual farm field. Each toilet and walk-in shower has its own private room, there is hot washing-up, a fridge and freezer for ice blocks, secure phone-charging lockers, and a 7kW EV charge point. Tent campers have no hook-up, but vans can use one of two hardstandings, one of them with electric. For something softer there is a bell tent and a yurt with a wood-burner, both off grid, with their own kitchen and compost toilet, and neither accepts pets.
It is a quiet-hours site with no recorded music at any time, so it suits walkers and families rather than groups out for a party. The season is short, running from late March to the end of August in 2027.
