Grandie Caravan Park

Small family-run site in the middle of Dufton village on the Pennine Way, with serviced hardstanding tourers, a tent field and three heated hobbit huts.

  • Dogs welcome
  • Glamping

Grandie sits in the centre of Dufton, a conservation village below the North Pennines about three miles north of Appleby. It is a small family-run park, and the village has a pub, a tearoom with a few groceries and a play area within a few hundred yards. The Pennine Way passes through the village, so walkers are well catered for, with a drying room and packed lunches on request.

Touring pitches are all hardstanding with their own electric and water, with the car beside you. Tents have a grassed area for one- and two-person tents, plus an overflow field for family tents with a solar toilet, and hook-up is included there too. Three small hobbit huts with heating and electric sleep two or four. The park also has about 15 privately owned statics, which are not for hire.
