  • Dogs welcome

Greengill is a small field on the edge of Morland, a village in the Eden Valley between Penrith, Appleby and Shap. It is level, sheltered and sunny, with a small beck along one side and an orchard and wild-flower meadow next door that campers can wander in. The views run to Cross Fell and the North Pennines.

There are up to ten grass tent pitches and five pitches with hook-up for caravans and motorhomes (two hardstanding, three grass). Facilities are simple: one shower and toilet, a covered washing-up area with hot and fresh water, chemical disposal and a barbecue to use. Laundry and a secure bike store are available on request. Dogs are welcome on a lead, and bookings are by phone or email. A bunk barn sleeping 16 sits next door.
