Wild Rose is a family-run holiday park at Ormside, a few miles from Appleby-in-Westmorland, looking across the Eden Valley to the Pennines. Most of the park is holiday homes, and you can rent a static caravan, a lodge, a hot-tub model or a glamping unit through Harrison Holidays' own booking engine, in three, four or seven night stays.
On site there is a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool, a gym, soft play, an outdoor play area, darts lanes and a pool table, plus the Coast & Country bar and restaurant and a farmhouse cafe. Three shower blocks have baby-changing and accessible facilities. Touring and camping is mainly seasonal pitches for owners, so check by phone before planning a short touring stay. The park is in a Dark Sky Discovery Site and the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales are each within about an hour.
