Hill of Oaks sits in old woodland on the south-eastern edge of Windermere, with several slipways and piers on its own stretch of shoreline. Alongside privately owned holiday homes, the park lets out woodland cottages, lake-view apartments, a lodge, a two-bedroom boathouse with its own boat awning, six-berth safari tents and glamping pods, both in the trees and on the lake edge.
There is a shop, a laundry with a dog wash, an enclosed playground and dog exercise area, and a summer boat service to Lakeside. You can bring a canoe, kayak or paddleboard but not a trailer boat. Dogs are allowed in some of the units for a per-stay charge. Prices and availability come up in the booking search only.
