Keen Ground Farm is a small Certificated Location on the edge of Hawkshead, on a gently sloping two-acre lawned field beside a working farm. It takes five touring units, with electric hook-ups at 16 amps, waste and grey-water disposal points, two water points and a TV booster. Motorhomes are limited to 7 metres.
Hawkshead's pubs, restaurants, shops and chemist are about a 10-minute walk by road or 15 across the fields, and a bus stops at the bottom of the drive for Ambleside and Coniston. Dogs are welcome on the farm footpaths. The 16 amp supply cannot cope with charging electric cars or bikes.
